The Ladies' Division of Yarmouth Golf Links welcomes all new players to come and join the fun. On Monday evenings from Mid-May to end of September the ladies have a nine hole scramble which is a wonderful way to begin playing and enjoying the game of golf. Wednesday mornings at 10:00 a.m. the ladies meet for coffee and muffins then play either 18 or 9 holes of golf. Guest are very welcome to come and play on both days. Come and bring a friend.
Ladies' Closing Scramble was held on Sunday, September 27 with 34 ladies participating. A good time was had by all, weather man cooperated, BBQ steak with pot luck salads and desserts (delicious as usual) along with the Yankee Swap brought a very successful year to a great closing.
This year we are hosting the Cooks' Dairy Zone Two ball on Thursday, August 6, 2009. This is an 18 hole pinehurst scramble and everyone in our zone is invited to attend. We hope that you will come to the links and join us for a day of golf, a chance to win a prize and to enjoy our famous "pot luck' meal.
